People must inquire into the nature of the universe in which they exist, to realize the there is no second thing exists other than consciousness, which is the cause of the universe in which they exist and consciousness itself is uncaused.
The uncased consciousness is real and eternal. Whatever is eternal and real is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.
The seeker must strive to know the reality hidden by the world in which he exists.
Even Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).
When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.
Even Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God in truth) is the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.
Even Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (Brahman) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman, nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)
Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.
The world in which you exist is a dualistic illusion created out of the ‘Self’ which not you but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Whatever you have seen, known, believed and experienced is within the dualistic illusion. Thus, your existence is bound to an illusion created out of the consciousness, which is real and eternal.
Like an ornament made from gold is Gold, that which is born out of consciousness is consciousness. Like gold is the permanent thing, in ornaments made of gold, similarly, the mind, which is in the form of the universe is born out of consciousness, is consciousness in its essence.
What is the use of keep on questioning without investigating?
Perfect understanding and realization of ‘what is what’ leads to Self-awareness. By holding on to theories, one remains in the realm of duality. One has to mentally go on dropping what is not truth through deeper Self-search. Finally, when one becomes aware of the fact that, his ego, his body, and the world are one in essence then there is Self-awareness in the midst of duality.
Sage Sankara says : ~ V.63 ~ "Without knowing and examining the external world, one can’t know Truth, as the idea that the external world exists, won't go. It can go only by an inquiry into the nature of the external world.
In nondual Self-awareness, the ego is not considered as ego, even though ego is present, the body is not considered as body even though body is present, the world which confronts him is not considered as the world even though the world is present, the duality ceases even though the duality is present, because of wisdom everything is considered as consciousness. Thus, there is conscious oneness.
Only in ignorance, the world in which we exist is an illusion created out of the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness. The religious dualist who created their own belief in personal God thinks, consciousness is created by their personal God, which they believe and worship.
The Upanishads and Vedas condemn such belief is personal Gods.
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad:~ "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from the Self does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)
The world is both real and unreal. It is real because it is a manifestation of consciousness, but is unreal, in the sense, that it is not absolute and eternal like consciousness itself.
People's approach is more practical, and they stuck with the reality of the world, they take it as real. That is why all the confusion.
The look of an object will depend upon the medium through which the observer views it. In fact, our mental and intellectual conditions determine the world, observed and experienced. The commoner viewing the world will see differently from a Gnani viewing the same world.
Each one interprets the world that they see in terms of their existing knowledge. The commoner sees everything based on the ego, therefore, experiences the birth, life, death and the world as a reality, whereas a Gnani sees everything as consciousness, and he is fully aware of the fact that, there is no second thing exists other than the Soul or consciousness. Thus, all the egocentric (religious) adulteration has to be bifurcated to realize the ultimate truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
From nondualistic perspective, there is neither creator nor creation, only consciousness because the form time and space are mere an illusion created out of consciousness.
Thus, consciousness is uncreated or uncaused eternal.
Only on the dualistic perspective, you can speak of the creator the creation. The creator and the creation theory based on the ego. The ego belongs to the dualistic illusion.
From nondualistic perspective, there is no scope for duality because the existence formless, timeless spaceless that is Advaita.
First, find out how this world in which you came into existence, this world came into existence when the whole universe that exists nothing but an illusion created out of consciousness. Mentally stick to consciousness and dropping the illusion by realizing the universe is nothing but consciousness.
Consciousness is Self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny consciousness because it is the very essence of the one who denies it. Consciousness is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. Consciousness is the Self. Consciousness is within, consciousness is without; consciousness is before, consciousness is behind; consciousness is on the right, consciousness is on the left; consciousness is above and consciousness below.
Until one thinks his body as body, ego as ego the universe as universe he remains in ignorance because he is still in ignorance, and he is unaware of the fact that they too are the consciousness.
Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Among thousands of men, scarcely one strives for perfection; and of those who strive and succeed, scarcely one knows the ‘Self’ in truth. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
