Mentally you must imbibe the Advaitic Wisdom of the Sage Sankara.+

Humanity has to awaken to the reality of its true existence by realizing the world in which humanity exists is merely an illusion created out of consciousness through Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana frees the Soul, the innermost Self from the cage of the dualistic illusion.

Sage Sankara says ~ VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense organs, etc., which are unreal.

The Soul is the innermost Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness is indestructible and inseparable from itself because it is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. Consciousness pervades everything and everywhere in all three states.

The Soul the Self is ever free from all taint. The mind exists as the illusory universe within the Soul the Self. Thus, the Soul or consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman. The ultimate truth or Brahman is God in truth.

Consciousness is God in truth and God in truth pervades in everything and everywhere in all three states.

Thus, the mystic claim that ‘I AM GOD’ is incorrect because God in truth is not an individual because God pervades everything and everywhere in all three states.

Thus, one has to realize the individual God propagated by the belief systems is merely an imaginary God based on blind belief.

Verily the Soul the Self is all, free from differentiation and non-differentiation because it is formless. Neither can it be said, It is” not nor “It is not." It is a great mystery.

This is the whole substance of ultimate understanding. With Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma, Gnana is based on the Soul the Self, whereas all other Knowledge, is based on the ego. Whatever is based on the ego is bound to be a falsehood.

Don’t bother about anything other than the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Only stick to the Soul, the ultimate truth, or Brahman or God in truth. Mentally don’t let go of your hold on the Soul under any circumstances.

Unless and until ignorance is removed and Self-knowledge is gained, the world in which we exist will prevail as reality. Therefore, there is a need to know how this world came into existence.

The Soul, which we do not see, we say is real; and the world, which we do see, we say is false.

In Self-awareness, what exists for us does not really exist; and what does not exist for us, really exists.

Ignorance creates the division of illusory form, time, and space in the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The universe is based on the illusory form, time, and space. without this illusory division of the form,t time, and space within consciousness, the universe ceases to exist.

The illusory division of the form,t time, and space creates divisions based on sex, race, nationality, religion or caste, and creed.

Mentally you must imbibe the Advaitic Wisdom of the Sage Sankara.

Mentally you must you shed ignorance and get disentangled from the myth propagated by the religious myth.

Mentally you must shed all the accumulated egocentric knowledge and get disentangled from the religious conditioning.

Mentally you must shed prejudices and get disentangled from superficial distinctions.

Mentally you must tread the Atmic path to the formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. the path to the Soul, the real God, One without the second.

When you enthrone the Soul, the one without the second mentally, you do not necessarily put an end to the game of dualistic life.

You have to play your illusory role in the dualistic illusion without being caught up in duality play by remaining in this world, not of this world. The unity in the midst of its diversity.

The Soul is One and all divisions are imaginary. Be ye established in this eternal Truth.

The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness is an undivided and indivisible Ocean.

The Atman, the Self cannot be experienced, because the experience is possible only in the realm of duality. Atman is prior to any experience. In Self-awareness there is neither experience nor experience.

In Self-awareness the body, ego, and the world are not considered different from consciousness.

Thus the whole universe (form, time, and space) in which we exist is nothing but an illusion created out of consciousness. Consciousness alone is real all else is merely an illusion created out of consciousness. :~ Santthosh Kumaar

Bhagavad Gita:- A man who has attained Self-knowledge worships Atman as God.+

Bhagavad Gita Chapter:~ All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Gods. (7- Verse -20)

How can you worship the Absolute? That implies two ~ the worshiper and the worshiped, whereas the Absolute is nondual. One can worship his idea of the Absolute only or realize his unity with it when he can’t worship it as a part.

Religious rites and rigid ceremonies were passed down from one generation to the next as a practice or set customs and traditions and performed automatically with blind faith. Such worship based on the belief of God does not reach God. \

Religious rites and ceremonies, yagnas and homa-havans, or any other forms of ritual are meant for the ignorant populace. Belief in God without knowing God in actuality holds the worshiper more firmly in the grip of ignorance.

All worship ceremonies and rituals performed on the base of non-Vedic Gods will not yield any fruits.

Deeper self-search reveals that worshiped, the worship, and the worshiper and the world are merely an illusion created out of the consciousness.

Religious rites and ceremonies, yagnas and homa-havans, or any other forms of rituals formal observance has long since set in.

Religious rites and ceremonies, yagnas and homa-havans, or any other forms of ritual are meant for the ignorant populace.

In the Atmic path, the seeker has to discard all religious baggage to realize the Soul, the real God.

Sage Sankara says: ~ The scriptures dealing with rituals, and rewards are therefore addressed to an ignorant person.

The Upanishads say in effect that: ~ If you believe that the ‘the Soul, the innermost Self’ is one and God (Brahman) is another you cannot understand Truth.

The religion preaches that God is one and the ways to God are many. It simply tries to lead them to darkness with its dogma and idea of many Gods, which are apart from the Self.

People all over the world in the past and present accepted the idea of the existence of God. The fear of God injected by religion was the root cause of worship, superstitions, and dogmas. The religious belief is passed on to the populace from one generation to the next generation.

Realizing the single stuff of which this universe in which you exist is made, is Truth realization or Self-realization or God-realization.

When the expression itself is illusory, then the evolution within the illusory expression is bound to be an illusion.

Thus, the evolution theory holds no water from the standpoint of the Soul, the Self The belief system preaches that God is one and the ways to God are many. It simply tries to lead them to darkness with its dogma and idea of many Gods, which are apart from the Self.

When the Upanishad says:- The human goal is to acquire Self-Knowledge and they indicate the personal Gods, scriptures, worship, and rituals are not the means to Self –Knowledge, then why anyone should indulge in it.

Religion, the concept of an individualized God, and scriptures are a great obstacle to Self-realization because they are based on a false self.

The seeker of truth has to search for the ultimate truth without losing himself in the labyrinths of philosophy, through deeper self-search, and assimilate and realize it.

Whatever is real in the world in which we exist is God. All that is real in the world in which we exist is the Soul, the Self.

Thus, by realizing the Self, which is the Soul, we discover the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness itself, which is hidden by the ‘I’, which is the dualistic illusion.

Even the Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says, that God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

Even Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) in truth is the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.

Even Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

The world in which you exist is a dualistic illusion created out of the ‘Self’ which is not you but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Whatever you have seen, known, believed, and experienced is within the dualistic illusion.

Thus, your existence is bound to an illusion created out of the consciousness, which is real and eternal. Like an ornament made from gold is Gold, that which is born out of consciousness is consciousness. Like gold is a permanent thing, in ornaments made of gold, similarly, the mind, which is in the form of the universe is born out of consciousness, is consciousness in its essence

Many people follow both Bhakti as well as Jnana. Orthodoxy saints and poets in the past composed numerous hymns of various Gods and Goddesses by mixing both dual and nondualistic ideas.

Many sages are used to illustrate, the formless (Nirakara God) ocean water under the cold currents of bhakti freezes to take the shape of ice (Saakar God). The same ice (Saakar God) under the heat of Gnana dissolves and again becomes the formless ocean (Nirakara God).

All the orthodox Advaitins believe in God and Goddesses (vidya) and performing rituals and other sacrifices(Avidya) both are hindrances to Self-knowledge according to Ish Upanishads, then why seeker of truth need worshipping of God and Goddesses, when the essence of Advaita is Atman is Brahman (Soul is the ultimate truth or God in truth).

Bhagavad Gita: 7: 19:~ "Such a man who has attained true knowledge, the knowledge of Self, the knowledge of Atman, worships Atman as God~ Atman alone exists~ everything is Atman, there exists nothing except Atman. Such a man is extremely rare"

Isa Upanishads:~ By worshipping Gods and Goddesses and going to the world of Gods after death is of no use. The time one spends in ritualistic practices is wasted; one can spend the same time moving forward toward Self-knowledge, which is the main goal.

One cannot reach the nondual destination by glorifying God and Goddesses and by doing that, one goes deeper and deeper into darkness. It surely indicates the fact that the seeker of truth has to drop worshiping God and Goddess to get Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

It also indicates that religious rituals (Avidya) are Karma (action) and, therefore, a hindrance. By performing Agnihotra and other sacrifices (Avidya) is a roundabout way of purifying the mind, and it is also groping in the dark.

In addition, it indicates that karma is limited only to religious rituals, not to the whole human life. This karma theory based on human conduct must have been adopted from Buddhism and other theories based on human conduct.

When it says: Perform the obligatory karmas without any attachment to the fruits and at the same time worship Gods and Goddesses, again without any desire to go to heaven - then you can get the benefit of both, liberation and bliss.

For those who are not yet ready to renounce, this path is recommended, it means that the religion and its idea of God and Goddesses and code of conduct, and its rituals are meant for the masses who are incapable of thinking of the beyond.

In addition, it also speaks of heaven the abode of Gods, where one goes after death, and it speaks of rebirth, this contradiction, the seeker has to conclude that religion, rituals, and its code of conduct are meant for the mass that is not receptive to ‘Self’-knowledge.

Sage Goudpada says: ~ The merciful Veda teaches karma and Upasana to people of lower and middling intellect while jnana is taught to those of higher intellect.

So they clearly indicate rituals and theories are not meant for those who are searching for higher knowledge or wisdom. The path of wisdom is the only means. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Realization of Brahman or God is possible in this very life not in the next life or next world.+

The realization of Brahman or God is possible in this very life not in the next life or next world. The serious and sincere seeker who has patience, humility, and an intense urge to know the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space, will be able to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

One, who has realized the ultimate truth, or Brahman, is a Gnani. A Gnani sees himself along with the world in which he exists as consciousness.

All Gurus and paramparas belong to the orthodoxy. Orthodoxy has nothing to do with Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom.

Identifying the Atman as Self is the most important in the Atmic path. Consciousness is the substratum on which the universe, which is the dualistic illusion experienced. Consciousness is hidden by the dualistic illusion. Consciousness dwells in everything and everywhere in the universe, which is the dualistic illusion or Maya.

The Atman is the Self. Atman is present in the form of consciousness. The universe is a dualistic illusion or Maya is created out of consciousness. Consciousness alone is real and eternal.

The Soul is the ultimate truth or Brahman. The Soul is in the form of consciousness. The Soul is the Self -evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny the Soul because it is the very essence of the one who denies it.

The Soul is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness (Spirit), is the ultimate truth or Brahman. Brahman is God in truth. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The one who thinks himself as guru and the one who thinks himself as chela (disciple) will not be able to acquire Atma Gnana.+

The Self cannot be realized by following some Guru, the study of the scriptures, or by intelligence, nor by much hearing of sacred books. It is attained reason. To such a one Atman reveals Its own form.

Some modern Gurus talk of surrendering to the Self without knowing what the Self is supposed to be in actuality.
Just by saying open your heart and surrender nothing happens. Playing with the words and playing with the emotions leads only to hallucinations.
The Guru who pretends to be Self-realized and plays with the emotions and sentiments of the seeker is a fraud, not a Gnani.
Only a perfect understanding of what is what leads to truth realization. The truth-realization is Self-realization. Self-realization is God-realization.
If you are seeking truth nothing but the truth then you must not get stuck to any Guru or yogi. Those who are seeking truth need not follow any Guru or any teaching.
Yoga Vasistha says: ~ Self-knowledge or knowledge of truth is not had by resorting to a Guru (preceptor) nor by the study of scripture, nor by good works: it is attained only through inquiry inspired by the company of wise (Gnani). One’s inner light alone is the means, naught else. When this inner light is kept alive, it is not affected by the darkness of inertia.
There is no need to condemn Gurus, but there is a need to highlight how they become an obstacle in realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman.
Swami Vivekananda said: ~ “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher, but your own Soul.”
The Guru is useless so long as the ultimate truth is unknown, and the Guru is equally useless when the ultimate truth or Brahman has already been known.
A Guru is needed in the religious and the yogic path. There is no need for a Guru to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
The one who thinks of himself as a Guru and the one who thinks of himself as a chela (disciple) will not be able to get Self-Knowledge because both accepted themselves as the body. And all their understanding, practices, and knowledge are based on the false self. Therefore, the Guru–Shisya concept is a great obstacle in the pursuit of truth.
Gnani never accepted himself as a guru or anyone as his disciple because he is fully aware he, his body, and the world in which he exists are merely an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
There is no division in his consciousness even though he is in the midst of division or duality.
Thus, by surrendering to any Guru or Godmen is not the means to Self-knowledge. The Soul, the Self is the true Guru.:~Santthosh Kumaar
