Sage Goudpada: ~ To establish the truth of Non-duality by sheer reasoning alone.+

Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani).

First, know ‘what is the truth’ and ‘what is untruth’ for sure. Without realizing what untruth truth is, it is difficult to know what truth is.

When the sky, clouds, and the world in which you exist are made of single clay then there is no second thing that exists, other than that clay. That clay is the Soul, which is formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

Reality is hidden by unreality. The world in which we exist hides the truth.  Whatever belongs to you is unreal. The words and thoughts belong to you, not to the Soul, the ‘Self'.

Whatever has names and form and attributes and whatever belongs to form, time and space is an illusion. The illusion hides the Spirit, which is God.  The illusion and Spirit are one in essence.  Spirit, the God alone, is real and eternal.

Sage Goudpada: ~ To establish the truth of Non-duality by sheer reasoning alone. He begins by defining "What is real and What is unreal, because that is the right way to grasp nonduality.  (Manduka Karika)

It is impossible to find the Self through ‘I-centric gurus and their teaching. The seeker has to use his reason (Buddhi) in order to realize the truth hidden by ignorance. Ignorance is present in the form of the ‘I’.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ “You must first see the ‘I’ as illusory before you see others as illusory. ~ CH.2 v.16

If 'I' is real, let it then be perceived in the state of deep sleep also. As it is not at all perceived, it must be unreal and false, like dreams.

Mentally cross the ‘I’ and enter the kingdom of the Advaitic heaven. The Self is not ‘I’ because the Soul, the Self, is prior to the ‘I’.

Simply saying ‘I AM’ that or ‘I AM this is to the genderless Soul is not wisdom. Without knowing what this ‘I’ supposed to be, in actuality saying ‘I AM THAT is not wisdom but ignorance.

First, know what his ‘I’ supposed to be. The ‘I’ is an object to the Soul, which is the formless, timeless and spaceless subject. The ‘I’ is the whole universe, which appears and disappears. Without the ‘I’ the universe ceases to exist.

Perfect understanding of ‘what is what leads to unfolds the mystery of the ‘I’. Sticking to the ‘I-centric’ gurus and their teaching keeps you in the cage of ignorance.

The ‘Self, the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness is not limited to you because it pervades in everything and everywhere in the world in which you exist.

You are not God. The Soul, the ‘Self’ is God in truth. It is not correct to say God, or I am Brahman. But when Brahman is, how can "I" remain? Only Brahman or God in truth alone remains, not the I.

From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, the ‘I’ is an illusion, which appears and disappears.

It is erroneous to use the word ‘I’ for the Self, because ‘I’ represents the form, time and space whereas the Soul, the innermost Self is formless, timeless and spaceless existence.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ The permanent is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)

To understand the false nature of the ‘I’, the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is necessary.

The Self is not ‘I’, but the Self is the Soul, which is the witness of the ‘I’. By holding the’ Self’ ‘I' leads to hallucination based on the imagination.

Advaita is not any type of teaching or philosophy. Advaita is the knowledge of your true existence. Advaita is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness. Advaita is the ultimate reality, Brahman, or GOD.

That why Sage Sankara said:~Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many Gods as you please, observe ceremonies and sing devotional hymns, but liberation will never come, even after a hundred aeons, without realizing the Oneness.

When the ‘Self’ is not body, (you) but the Soul, then the question of wife, children or whatever connected to the body will not arise.

All these experiences as the father, son, Guru, and pupil and the world in which they all exist were one and the same consciousness appearing differently. All these distinctions disappear when one realizes Self is not ‘I’ but the Soul. The Soul is the cause of this world in which we exist, and it itself is uncaused.

Perfect understanding and realization of ‘what is what’ leads to Self-awareness. By holding on to theories, one remains in the realm of duality. One has to mentally go on dropping what is not truth through deeper Self-search.

Finally, when one becomes aware of the fact that, his ego, his body, and the world are one in essence then there is Self-awareness in the midst of duality.

Sage Sankara says: ~ V.63 ~ "Without knowing and examining the external world, one can’t know Truth, as the idea that the external world exists, won't go. It can go only by an inquiry into the nature of the external world.

In Advaitic Self-awareness, the ego is not considered as ego, even though ego is present, the body is not considered as body even though body is present, the world which confronts him is not considered as the world even though the world is present, the duality ceases even though the duality is present, because of wisdom everything is considered as consciousness. Thus, there is conscious oneness.

Only in ignorance, the world in which we exist is an illusion created out of the Soul, the Self.

I am highlighting all the obstacles in the inner journey and how to overcome these obstacles. All accumulated knowledge is of no use in the Atmic path.

It is for every seeker, who is in the Atmic path to realizing himself “What is truth, “and “What is untruth?” to assimilate the Self –Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

My postings are only signposts. The seeker needs to reflect constantly on the subject till the cobwebs of his doubts and confusion get cleared.

It takes time for the seeker to gain the perfect understanding of ‘what is truth’ and ‘’what is untruth’. It takes time for the Soul, the Self to wake up from the sleep of ignorance, and it takes time for one realizes the truth, which is beyond the form, time and space.

Those who are stuck with the ‘I’ based teaching never be able to cross the domain of the form, time and space. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
