One that becomes the waking, One that becomes the dream and one that remains without waking or dream deep sleep is consciousness.+

To get at the ultimate truth, one has to analyze the mind, which is present in the form of the universe.

Just as sugar generated from sugarcane juice analyzed wholly pervades by that juice, so the mind produced in consciousness permeated by consciousness through and through.

This can be understood and assimilated only through the illustration of waking, dream, and deep sleep. Only in the waking experience, the world, in which you exist, is present. The dream world exists only in the dream. The waking or the dream is absent in deep sleep.

It is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. All three states are made of the single clay. That single clay is consciousness. The Soul, which present in the form of consciousness, is the substance and witness of the three states.

The Soul is within the three states as their formless substance, and it is apart from the three states as their formless witness. In reality, the substance and the witness of the three states are one in essence. That essence is consciousness. Thus, consciousness is ultimate truth or Brahman or God i truth.
