Life within the domain of the form, time and space, is purposeless because the form, time and space are merely an illusion. Thus, the purpose of life is a reality within the universe, which is a dualistic illusion or Maya.
The dualistic illusion is created out of a single stuff. That single stuff is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, there is no purpose of life because there is no second thing that exist other than the Soul, which is the ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
Only religious people propagate the purpose of life because they hold the experience of the birth, life, death and the world as a reality whereas the Soul, the Self is birthless and deathless because it is unborn eternal.
Life within the domain of the form, time and space is a mixture of pain and pleasure. From nondualistic perspective, the life has no purpose at all.
The life within the dualistic illusion has its own end whereas the reality no beginning and no end because it is the formless, timeless and spaceless existence.
The moment you realize the ‘Self’, not you, you will realize, what is the ultimate reality is all about. The illusion has no purpose, all because it is merely a dualistic illusory appearance.
The dualistic illusion is present in the form of the world in which you exist. Ignorance is the cause of experiencing the dualistic illusion as a reality. When ignorance vanishes, the dualistic illusion will not prevail as a reality. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
