If you realize what this ‘I’ supposed to be in actuality, then you will be able to unfold the truth hidden by ignorance.
Without realizing what this ‘I’ supposed to be in actuality, it is impossible to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
Remember:~
The ‘I’ is present in the form of the mind. The mind is present in the form of the universe. The universe appears as waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality).
The ‘I’ or the universe or waking or dream are nothing, but mind (I). If the mind (I) is not there, then the universe is not there. If the universe is not there, the waking is not there.
The witness of the coming and going of the three states is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The substance of the mind is the Soul or consciousness. The mind is made of the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.
From the standpoint of the Soul, the mind is merely an illusion. Thus, Soul and mind are one in essence. There is no difference between the mind is created out of consciousness. Since mind is an illusion and the illusion has no value. The Soul or consciousness alone is real, and the mind is an illusion.
It is all consciousness, Brahman, the ultimate truth, all one Reality. Self-knowledge clears all the cobweb of doubts and confusion. In Self-awareness there is no beginning or end because it is formless, timeless and spaceless existence.
The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness alone, is real and eternal. Thus, the diversity is mere an illusion, the unity is a reality. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
